According to Dr. Michio Kaku, scientists should not rule out the possibility that UFOs are from another planet.
Michio
Kaku, an American physicist and City College of New York professor, is most
recognised among his peers for his contributions to the string theory, which
tries to explain how the world works. Michio Kaku is well known to the general
public as a brilliant scientific popularizer, author of popular science
bestsellers, and futurist who forecasts how ordinary life will change as a
result of advances in computers and high technology, as well as the finding of
alien civilizations.
Professor
Kaku has made a slew of future forecasts, the majority of which have yet to
materialise.
He
predicts, for example, that by 2029, robots would be smarter in practically
every manner than humans. He believes that the colonisation of Mars will be
successful, and that humanity will be able to establish independent colonies
within a few decades. Dr. Michio Kaku spends the most of his time discussing
the future of technology and understanding the universe, but what about aliens?
Dr. Kaku
has previously expressed his opinions on when we might encounter aliens. He
indicated in an interview earlier this year that we could uncover alien
civilizations within a century using the most advanced observational devices.
He emphasised the James Webb Telescope in particular, which will be launched later this year. Once it's up and running, we'll be able to investigate thousands of planets in detail, increasing the chances of finding indications of extraterrestrial life.
Since I’ve been on several TV science shows concerning UFOs, people have asked me about my position. I think it is a legitimate scientific question to ask where these UFO sightings come from. That does not mean that these UFOs are necessarily from another planet, but ....

Dr. Kaku
responded to a query concerning UFOs in a more recent comment on Twitter. These
incidents have become a hot topic since the government began to show interest
in them with the formation of the UAP Task Force and the publication of a UFO
report earlier this year.
Dr. Kaku
urges scientists to concentrate their efforts on UFOs, despite the lack of
evidence that they are from other worlds. The problem is that we don't have any
proof that this isn't also a possibility. According to the expert, we should
think about a lot more possibilities.
What if, for
example, aliens aren't even somewhat more advanced than humans? What if they're
a million years ahead of us and live by completely different physics and other
laws?
One of the
reasons Dr. Kaku thinks we should be particularly cautious if we ever make contact
with an alien civilisation is because of this. Extraterrestrials could be
hostile and far more advanced than we are capable of handling.
...we should be open to that possibility. Many physicists are skeptical because the stars are so far away, but that assumes ET is only a century ahead of us.

Imagine if the aliens are millions of years more advanced than us; new laws of physics open up, so keep an open mind.
